Sri Kalahasteeswara Swamy Temple, located in Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh, is one of the most revered Shiva temples in South India. It is famously known as the “Kashi of the South” and represents the Vayu (air) element among the Pancha Bhoota Sthalams. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva in the form of Vayu Linga, which is said to be self-manifested (Swayambhu). Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple is devoted to Goddess Padmavathi (Alamelu), the consort of Lord Venkateswara. Located about 5 km from Tirupati, it is a part of the sacred pilgrimage circuit overseen by TTD . The temple dates back centuries and is built in Dravidian architectural style, featuring the sacred Padmasarovaram tank where Padmavathi is said to have emerged as a golden lotus Key rituals include Suprabhatam, Sahasra Nama Archana, Kumkum Archana, and special sevas on specific days—like Abhishekam (₹400), Vastralankarana Seva (₹10,000 on Fridays), Tiruppavada Seva (₹600 on Thursdays), and Astadala Pada Padmaradhanamu (₹300 on Mondays), among others During festivals such as Brahmotsavam and Panchami Theertham, devotees gather in large numbers to participate in rituals and sacred baths
